Kayden Earns his Grandmaster Title

Kayden turned 16 and achieved his Grandmaster title at the Chicago Open in the month of May, 2014. He became the youngest Grandmaster in America and one of the youngest to achieve the title in the history of America. This puts him in some really great company with Grandmasters Bobby Fischer, Hikaru Nakamura and Ray Robson. It’s been an amazing journey, and Kayden would like to thank everyone that made it possible! Now the real work begins to see how far this can go. Kayden is being mentored by former World Champion Garry Kasparov, and is coached by GM Alex Chernin, who has coached many of the world’s elite players including GM Fabiano Caruana. The foundation is set to work towards the future! http://en.chessbase.com/post/profile-of-a-prodigy-kayden-troff
